Here's my proposed 6 on - 2 off shift schedule for 4 teams. I chose to rotate each team one shift earlier each time a change was made. This schedule works two nights, two swings, two days, two off. This 2-2-2 rotation is similar to what many space operations squadrons use. Rotating this way also helps reset the body's circadian rhythm back to a day shift prior to the days off.
